With more than 825,000 inhabitants, Amsterdam is the biggest city in the Netherlands. The metropolis is all about diversity. This is not only due to the range of cultural activities on offer, the hugely varied nightlife and multicultural population, but also in particular to the economic diversity, which has created an attractive business climate for organisations in all sectors.
The office and business locations in Amsterdam all have their own atmosphere, as a consequence of the nature of the organisations that are based there and their business activities. There are big differences, for example, between the inner city (creative businesses, new media), the Zuidas (financial and legal sector), the Banks of the River IJ (technology), Sloterdijk and The Arena area.
CBRE established itself in the Netherlands with a traditional office in the inner city of Amsterdam in 1973. Over the years we have changed location several times due to our organisation's growth. In 2011 we moved to Symphony Offices at the Zuidas, Amsterdam's Central Business District.
At our office in Symphony, the integrated cooperation between the different CBRE specialists has been able to flourish. Each property and accommodation discipline was based at Symphony. We started to work in a new way, based around integrated cooperation and knowledge exchange. To our clients this means better and surprising solutions to their needs.
Our innovative office concept makes it easier to meet each other. Cooperation with other disciplines is part of our nature. Our head office is a showcase for the kind of advice we offer to our clients on how to ensure an office genuinely supports their business goals.
All property and accommodation expertise is represented at CBRE Amsterdam, for projects throughout the Netherlands and for the teams specifically focusing on the Amsterdam region. We are right beside our clients, spar about their property or housing, and make sure they make the best choices on the basis of our knowledge of the Amsterdam market.
